In accordance with the order of State Property Fund of Ukraine from 09.07.2008 №799 on the basis of General Executive Committee SE "Izmail shipbuilding-shiprepairing yard" was established Open Joint-stock Company "Danubeshiprepair". Open Joint-stock Company "Danubeshiprepair" is the legal successor of rights and obligations of Joint-Stock Company "Izmail shipbuilding-shiprepairing yard". It is the Ukrainian enterprise specializing on service of ship-owners requirements under repair of river and marine vessels.
Enterprise is situated in Izmail, near the well-known historical monument - Turkish fortress. It has more than semicentenial experience of repair, re-equipment and completion of vessels of different purposes: from vessels on hydrofoil to marine carrier and vessels of special purposes.
Shipyard has considerable production facilities both on and off the shore. Specialized shops and departments as well as qualified specialists allow shipyard to carry out the full complex of ship repair works.
Also we provide different kinds of mechanical metal working. All kind of works are carrying out, documenting and controlling very carefully in accordance with International Standards. The main principles of our work are:
competent manpower policy;
transparent pricing;
strong execution of obligations on repair terms;
application of progressive technologies of repair.
During the last 50 years, the mechanical workshops of yard were turned into well-developed, modern enterprise. For today the length of moorage is more than 1000 meters which are equipped with four portal cranes, tonnage of 10-32 tons and systems supplying compressed air, water and electric power. The enterprise has a tug with capacity of 600 h.p. and floating cranes with load-carrying capacity- 25 and 5 tons, and also four floating docks and covered slip with load-carrying capacity- 50, 5000, 2500, 6100 and 500tons.
Water area - 13 hectares.
Passed depth - 4,5 m.
Dimensions of vessels:
Length up to 140 meters;
Dock weight up to 6000 tons;
Draft up to 4, 5 meters.
The rich experience of enterprise helps to ship-repairers to master all the peculiarities of new line ship-repairs. The workers have a great experience both in the sphere of re-building and re-equipment of different vessels (passenger vessels, floating cranes, dredgers, tugs etc.) and in the sphere of class changing. Enterprise offers the following services:
repairing, grit blasting and painting;
repair of screw-rudder set and bottom-overboard fittings;
repair of engines and vessel’s gears, mechanisms, systems;
repair and regulation of automatic and electrical equipments, radio-navigation devices;
manufacturing and reconstruction of propeller shafts;
recovering of ship’s aluminum pistons;
repairing and manufacturing of ship construction from wood, and also manufacturing of ship furniture;
repair of fuel equipment.
Because of wide nomenclature of auxiliary manufactures the kinds of works specified above are carried out by own forces of enterprise, various kinds of machining of metals, performance of moulding of various details from bronze, pig-iron, aluminum are provided; heat treatment and forging of details are made. The specified list of services constantly extends because of introduction of new technologies in manufacture process.
Our enterprise is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping in conformity to standard ISO 9001:2000.
